Today’s contemporary students have many options. While some prefer the traditional campus experience, others may prefer living off campus and enjoy a more relaxed life commuting. Some students may even prefer the growing convenience of online courses. Those preferring to take courses online can find comfort in studying at home in their pajamas, or at a coffee bar dining on danish. A program taking the career world by storm is that of business. 1. Thanks mate for all the valuable information. Online courses and schools has made it possible for many to continue their education while working at the same time, which otherwise would not have been possible. I just got myself enrolled to an online university for my MBA. It’s really great that you do not have to go to the class; rather you can do all the required stuffs from home. This is saving so much of my time. And in addition I am able to work full time as well, to pay for my tuition and my household expenses!

  2. Useful information has been given on the post. I have heard a lot about distant learning and the online courses from my friends but have never enrolled in any. I have just completed my college and thinking of enrolling in a good university that has a renowned online courses or provides distant learning. I want to major in Human Resource Management. It is not possible for me to attend full time universities, as I have to work to run my family. Any suggestions on where I can enroll for a HRM degree?

  3. It’s too ahrd to attend traditional classes when you work fulltime and have family and church obligations besides. I’ve taken several courses online related to my field, it’s a great way to stay on top of your game and show your employer your committment to continuing education – my employers even pay 50% of each course that I pass – that relates to my job.

  4. As someone who works full time as a salaried manager and has the responsibility for taking care of two kids, I don’t feel like I have the ability to attend a regular college. I truly appreciate the opportunities that the Internet has opened up for me in this regard. At last I am able to work toward a degree in a way that fits into my life and is manageable. I’m attending Arizona State University and working toward a BS, concentrated on Technological Entrepreneurship. I hope to start my own software consulting firm in the future. ASU has a great online program – check it out: http://asuonline.asu.edu/
